Presence - Agency - Capacity
A reflective therapeutic space for individuals and couples seeking more room to think, feel, and choose.
Through presence and agency, we create the conditions for our emotional & relational range to expand and for life to be held with greater capacity and choice.
Who this space is for:
This is a space for people and couples who want room to reflect — on themselves, their relationships, and the patterns shaping how they live and relate.
You don’t need to be in crisis or have a particular diagnosis to be here. Many people arrive during times of transition, uncertainty, or stuckness, or with a sense that something wants to be understood or held differently.
Others come with experiences of trauma, grief, loss, or ongoing relational difficulty. All are welcome. The work begins where you are, and unfolds at your pace.
Individuals
I work with adults who want space to reflect, understand themselves more deeply, and create difference in their lives.
This may include people navigating transition, identity shifts, relationship patterns, grief or loss, or a sense of being constrained or unsure of the next step. It may also include those with histories of complex trauma or long-standing emotional or relational difficulty.
The focus is on expanding emotional and relational range, so more of you can be present in your life — without having to push, perform, or override yourself.
Couples
In working with couples, the focus is on creating enough safety and steadiness for patterns to be noticed, understood, and gently shifted.
Relationship distress often reflects nervous systems under strain — caught in cycles of pursuit, withdrawal, protection, or shutdown. Therapy supports partners to expand both individual and shared capacity to stay present, communicate, and choose differently, even in moments of tension or pain.
I work in a kink-aware and kink-friendly way, and welcome people and couples whose relationships include consensual power dynamics, ethical non-monogamy, or other diverse relational or sexual expressions.
This work is grounded in respect, consent, and an understanding of how relational and nervous system patterns show up across a wide range of intimate experiences.
What sessions are like
Sessions move at a pace that is collaborative and adjustable, with consent and choice made explicit rather than assumed.
Time is given to reflection as much as to action, with attention to what feels small, familiar, or hard to shift. Range expands here through gentle contact and retreat, not pressure, and capacity grows through steadiness rather than endurance.
What this work is not
This work is not about quick fixes, pushing through, or being told how to live your life.
It is not about forcing insight, coherence, or change. Instead, the focus is on creating enough space for something new to emerge — at your pace, and by your choice.
I am a registered psychologist with over a decade of experience, working with adults and couples in private practice.
My work is grounded in presence and agency, with careful attention to pace, consent, and the relational space between us. I’m interested in how people come to feel constrained — in themselves, their relationships, or their lives — and how capacity can expand when the right conditions are in place.
People arrive here for many reasons. Some are navigating transition, uncertainty, or a sense of being stuck. Others bring experiences of relational difficulty, grief or loss, or complex traumatic histories. The work meets each person or couple where they are, without assuming pathology or requiring a particular story.
I don’t work from a model that aims to fix, or override parts of people. Instead, therapy supports reflection, the expansion of emotional and relational range, and an increased capacity to hold life with steadiness and choice.
My approach is informed by ongoing clinical training, supervision, and reflective practice, alongside long-standing engagement with relational, trauma-informed, and nervous-system-aware ways of training and working.
